The Kyiv Ukrainian Dance Ensemble School enrolls children from the ages of 4 -13. The class schedule is as follows: Monday Evenings 6:00pm Beginner Classes 6:15pm Advanced Classes 7:00pm Intermediate Classes The class schedule is subject to change. Each class is divided into three levels based upon age and ability. The Kyiv School believes in providing professional, quality training in the art of Ukrainian Folk Dance to any child of any ethnic background. Classes consist of a folk ballet barre warm-up, center floor exercises, and choreography. The school students are given several performance opportunities during the year. However, the main focus of our students is learning the craft of Ukrainian Folk Dance and the hopefull graduation into the performance Ensemble. Class fees: Registration fee for first child: $25 Beginner: $40 Intermediate: $50 Advanced: $60 Apprectince: $60 Notable School Perfomances include: Pittsburgh Folk Festival, Pittsburgh International Children's Festival, Ambridge Folk Festival and annual Kyiv Concert.
